In 2019, I was tasked with rebranding the Colorado Springs Independent newspaper. The goal was to make the brand and the newspaper more modern, and at the same time strengthen the brand's authority as an independent news source and its commitment to truth.

The Nerd Issue
A special issue designed to celebrate nerdy hobbies, I worked with the writer of the story to illustrate a Dungeons and Dragons inspired cover and feature layout. The characters adventure through the world with the reader as they peruse the story. The cover was also animated and shared on social media to tease the paper.
